Final Board: 5 8 4 Q Q
SB showed Q A and won $199 ($99 net)
Hero showed 8 T and lost (-$100 net)

He is 32/27 ,cb flop 57 and turn 17 but small sample ,300hands so don't think turn cbet is that relevant. Is the river shove ok? I think he would barrel the turn pretty often but because it paired on the river he should have not that many combos. When i limp after the fish i can have a wide range of pockets and SC's but not that many Qx hands because i would obv raise for value vs fish.

Hi.

Preflop: Super easy iso-raise vs the fish. Our suited one-gapper is pretty strong even vs a 40bb stack. We want to iso-raise him and play HU vs the weak player.

I think our hand is too strong to bluff on the River. Maybe turning a hand like 67 into a bluff here would be more reasonable. He does not necessarily fold 99/TT/JJ/KK/AA here, though I would rarely put him on QX.

We should check back and hope to beat his air which tried repping QX on the Turn. Maybe with a pair weaker than 8X, we could potentially bluff out some better hands so turning those weaker hands into bluffs make more sense.

Thanks.
