guy plays 32/17/3.2 3bet with 1/7 check raise on the turn in 300hands

First of all, vs fishie players is it standard to fold here? J9 just got there,QT would raise etc.
2nd questoin , if we call turn can we call a shove on the river or a half pot bet?
3rd I had a note on him that he check-raise turn 3rd pair and he half pot bet river on an Ace. My plan was to call a half pot bet and to fold to a shove based on that note,is it accurate?

Thx

Hi eszibit,

Aggainst a fishy player with no more info I think its a fold turn. He is raising J9, QT, TT, 33, 88 maybe some flush draws. In order to call turn we must be confortable calling non :club: or A river. Unless he has a wider raising range turn (ie: transforming 2nd or 3rd pair into bluff) I dont see how that play can be profitable.

Hi,

Turn is standard bet/fold, especially when the board coordinated further. Over here, you got lucky that you were right and from my own personal experience the turn raise here is 2pair + about 85-90% of the time.

Thanks.

Interesting now that you've seen him ch/r twice with botom pair. How does that change your play? I for example would do what you said - c and call half pot bet and fold to a shove but only when turn card is scary.

yep, standard for me to bet/fold here

@x3mwisp i was hoping for an answer aswell. I think that's the best way untill we see further proof that he can shove river with bluff or that he shoves with nuts.

Hi,

this is interesting because usually my read on fish is that all in=equals bluff, any other size=bluff after they raise on the turn.
