i would play the same against a 40 vbip, 1,5 af . nh
against players able to float i would play check/call turn and reevaluate river .

Jep, nh. Betting the turn is pretty standard given that you would often second barrel with air as well, representing the A. After the turnraise on this dry board you're most likely beat. Baluga theorem at it's finest I'd say.

I don't get why this applies here, KK is not air, it has decent showdown value, and by barreling here we are almost always bluffing with the best hand.

i would expect most donks to (insta potsize)bet their air here and check an ace, so I like check/calling more. Is that bad ?

It gives away your hand to a decent handreader. What are you gonna do if he bets the turn, and bets again on the river? There are a couple more draws that the turn makes possible as well. Besides, you still do want to get value out of hands that you beat: 99-QQ. In position you can afford to check behind, but OOP, I don't like it all that much.
