Thinking I played this hand wrong but wasn't sure and wanted to double check.

Pre-flop: Here I re-raised because villain was fairly loose and aggressive and so I thought I could get value out of a much weaker hand. Unsure if this was the right play though, maybe a fold would have been better?

Flop: I think a check-call would have been better here out of position. Don't think he's going to fold anything better or call with anything worse here. As played though I think I had to call his shove since I only had 660 chips left and was getting good odds here. Thoughts?

Hello Royaltramp,

Preflop:

Just call is fine. No need to 3-bet and play in a big pot with our hand out of position post flop.

Flop:

Smaller c-bet on this dry board. C-bet to 350 chips is enough.
After villain shoves we should make the crying call. He got weaker aces in his range, draws and some pockets. Of course he go AK, AQ and sets in his range but with the odds we getting call is fine.
