Do you like to take down your equity in this kind of spots with marginal made hands or check again and give up if villain bet..?

Hey,

Just check down imo. You make villain fold sometimes, but he also often calls with a hand that has you dead. His range is not that weak, he can still have all midpairs that bluffcatch. If you check it down you win quite often against A high since he will just check down instead of trying to bluff.
