Hi.

Not too keen on this plan. Thing is that you don't rep many sets/twopairs/straights when the board is low. how often are you defending 44/34s/54s here? I don't think you are calling all that much preflop right?

Things would be different if the board was higher. And Also I think the turn card is a really bad card to bluff atm when 89/4X all got there. There is also no flush draw on the Turn, and I expect him to checkfold stuff like AK.

So in conclusion his turn betting range is strong, and i do not want to try some fancy play when my opponent's range is strong.

what do you think, what is an optimum range to call his small 3bet i?

this is partially dependent on his postflop skill as well, but I think you can defend the following range

77+
56s+
A2s+
KJ+
AT+
All suited broadways
68s+

if his range is even wider than 15%, then you can start adding more hands like K9s Q9s J8s etc
