BTN: $4.62 (46.2 bb)
SB: $10.74 (107.4 bb)
BB: $30.54 (305.4 bb)
UTG: $10.60 (106 bb)
Hero (MP): $10.59 (105.9 bb)
CO: $17.22 (172.2 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, SB calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90) 3 J 4 (3 players)
SB bets $0.40, BB folds, Hero calls $0.40

Turn: ($1.70) 7 (2 players)
SB bets $1.10, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$1.70 pot ($0.08 rake)
Final Board: 3 J 4 7
SB mucked and won $1.62 ($0.92 net)
Hero mucked 9 9 and lost (-$0.70 net)

33/11 from 11 hands, seems fishy, based on his flop betsizeing.

The problem is, he bet so small on the flop, he does not look like a J to me. Then what can he bet on the turn this big? I should call him down on blank turns and rivers, or calling on flop, folding on turn is ok?

I can hardly imagine he will stop betting on the turn, so im not sure what can i do.

Hey Absolutism,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I agree with you that we should plan to call the river if we call the turn, at least on most cards.

Without any information I think that folding turn is reasonable because we are just simply guessing at this point.
