against this guy i obv dont mind stacking off pre so i figured that a 3bet is gonna be better than a flat so i dont have to play multiway post in case we see the flop. He looks like sb who would happily flat a lot of dominated hands so i dont really mind if we do that.
flop - the SPR is 2.5 so its not horribly shallow but its not great either. Should i cbet/fold this flop? i thought that it should have hit him pretty hard + i dont see a lot of better hands folding (some small pockets maybe, if he plays them like this), same with worse - theyre not really calling, assuming that in 3bet pot he should have considerably less draws. i think ive got some SD value + a gutter + BD K high FD so i dont want to fold flop if he goes for a ch/r. makes sense?
turn - if he bets bigger im probably done with the hand (and hate myself for not betting flop) but for a less than 1/2 pot i think i can call for my outs + the fact that he may easily take this line with 100% of his range, big part of which i still have beat. agree?
river - same again - folding to a bigger bet, but here im getting 16% odds and i believe he may do that with all his airballs easily, right?
to sum up 2 questions:
- how do you like it as played?
- should i simply 3bet shove pre (33bb deep) to avoid spots like this in the future)? i dont think so, since while its +EV for sure i doubt very much its the most +EV line
