NL2 FR A4s squeeze

Hi.

Should we squeeze here? The initial raise size is only 3bb, and with MP3 coming along, and with our position being in CO, I think this is a pretty good spot to call with an AXs hand. It plays well postflop and we can flop some nut flushes.

I don't really see the need to squeeze. I would however, squeeze with off suit broadways like KQo/ATo cos they just play better in 3b pots in headsup situations.

Once we get shipped on we are definitely committed. We get <25% pot odds and I think we usually have close to 30% equity here vs most ranges.

Thanks for the comment. I agree with you that I could have simply called. I probably need to remove my 3bet bluffing range as it doesn't seem to work out in lower limits

Yeah in general at lower limits, the biggest mistakes which most players make is to call way too much and fold way too little. There may be a few rare exceptions though.

You need to look at their fold to 3b stats, but then again at NL2 most players are recreational players, meaning they only one table and don't play on a regular basis which in turn leads to the fact that you won't have a huge sample size on their stats (and thus fold to 3b is going to be highly inaccurate with low sample sizes).

I'll stick to more of a value 3b squeezing range, JJ+/AK for pure value, and maybe KQ/AJ/AT/KJ/AQ for some thin value/isolation/attack the dead money in the pot reasons.
