Hand recorder for this hand: PokerStrategy.com SideKick 1.1.417.4

Preflop: Hero is SB with K♦, J♦
Hero posts small blind ($0.02), BB posts big blind ($0.05), 3 folds, MP3 raises for $0.14, 2 folds, Hero calls, BB calls

Flop: ($0.42 - 8.40 bb) T♣, 8♦, 7♦ (3 Players)
Hero bets $0.25, BB calls, MP3 raises for $1.10, Hero calls, BB calls

Turn: ($3.72 - 74.40 bb) Q♣ (3 Players)
Hero bets $2.20, BB calls, MP3 calls

River: ($10.23 - 204.60 bb) 8♣ (3 Players)
Hero checks, BB checks

-----

BB was 50/28/20 over 18.
MP3 was 14/11/11 over 44.

Preflop: a bit loose to call but I wanted to play with a fishy BB and he joins 50% of the pots.

Flop: I have a very strong draw and want to build the pot to stack the deep BB. When MP3 raises he probably has an overpair or set which I'm happy with. I want to keep the BB in the pot so I just call.

Turn: gives me more outs. I'm pretty sure MP3 will ship it. Wasn't sure of the best way to keep the fish in the pot so opted to bet into him (???).
If I get raised by the fish on the turn I guess it depends on the pot odds but I think I will often have enough equity to call.

River: blank so I'm c/folding.

Any advice on my turn play?

Hi Dawidas,

Preflop: look fine

Postflop: If we donk we should make it larger there into two guys and as played your line is fine but I'd generally play it ck/call on flop to prevent ourselves from being blown out of the pot (if lets say MP shoves his smaller stack).
