Bluffraising dry or monotome boards

Hello,
my question is if it's +EV to bluffraise dry and/or monotome boards. Is it ok to do? And what about bluffdonking them? (And if done often, also doing this with strong made hands). These questions are towards microstakes zoom tables.

Examples:

PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

UTG: 149 BB (VPIP: 66.67, PFR: 66.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
Hero (CO): 125.6 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 4♦ 4♥

UTG raises to 4 BB, fold, Hero calls 4 BB, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (9.4 BB, 2 players) 6♥ 9♦ 7♠
UTG bets 4 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB

Spoiler

UTG calls 8 BB

Turn: (33.4 BB, 2 players) K♦
UTG bets 12 BB, fold

PokerStars - $0.05 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

MP: 196.6 BB (VPIP: 27.03, PFR: 22.97, 3Bet Preflop: 3.33, Hands: 74)
Hero (CO): 166.4 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 8♣ 8♦

fold, MP raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, fold, fold, fold

Flop: (7.4 BB, 2 players) J♦ 4♦ 6♣
MP bets 4 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB

Spoiler

fold

SB: 216 BB (VPIP: 30.43, PFR: 24.64, 3Bet Preflop: 8.00, Hands: 70)
Hero (BB): 115.8 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 9♦ 9♠

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) 8♣ J♣ Q♣

Really there's not enough info here to determine whether its +EV or not.

Good candidates for bluff raising are players with high cbet% and low WTSD.

I am more inclined to bluff raise hands where I have outs to a strong made hand eg. because if you do get called and opponent has strong hand, it is ideal to be drawing to something that can get paid off eg A8/AT/A5 in hand one I would be much happier to bluffraise than an underpair which has 2 outs that aren't even definite. Bluffraising hands with reverse implied odds eg. hand 3, is not a good idea IMO.

I generally find that hands like the last two you posted make for better bluffcatchers than bluff raises.

Hey,

This type of thread should be in our strategy board so I've moved it there :)

Hi.

U should call 1 call 2 fold 3. Pocketpairs are not great for bluffraising cos they have poor equity to improve. Besides u do have enough SD value for the first two.

In hand 3 the board is too coordinated and draw heavy and 99 is crap there so u can muck it.
