PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) ZOOM - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $9.38
SB: $13.22
BB: $17.57
UTG: $10.00
Hero (MP): $10.26
CO: $12.60

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero has A♦ K♠

fold, Hero raises to $0.40, fold, fold, SB calls $0.35, BB calls $0.30

Flop: ($1.20, 3 players) 5♦ A♣ 2♥
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.90, SB calls $0.90, fold

Turn: ($3.00, 2 players) 7♦
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB raises to $11.92 and is all-in, Hero calls $6.46 and is all-in

River: ($20.92, 2 players) 3♦

Can I ever fold here? Villain is a nit (had about 50 hands on him), VP$IP 10 - PFR 7, low showdown, high W$SD, I really doubt he set mines by calling OOP with those stats especially with no previous callers.

I put him on AA or AK. Very unlikely he's on any kind of straight or AQ.

Hi CowKing,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: People, especially at these low limits, love to set mine so why would you discount that?

55, 22 and even 77 are part of his range and yes we can totally fold the turn. No worse hand raises there for value and we only beat a bluff which he rarely ever has.

And if you put him just on AA and AK why call? To split the pot in the best case?

I think that tight players with very even VP$IP and PFR on 6-max NL10 don't set mine by calling OOP HU. They do it IP or when there's at least two players on the pot besides them (or both players running deep).

Yes.

Villain won the pot with A7 of spades.
