vs range 5

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    41.79%  38.73%   3.06% { AhQh }
MP3    58.21%  55.15%   3.06% { 88+, AJs+, KQs, AKo }

he might not shove w some hands. In a way he act just seemed to me weak. On the other table he had full stack.
vs range 8,4

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    51.43%  46.67%   4.76% { AhQh }
MP3    48.57%  43.82%   4.76% { 66+, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, AJo+, KQo }

I guess in the best scenario we are flipping.
What do you think?

Hello,

It is close here and I would rather fold in this spot. We need around 44% after the rake so we need him to shove something like 66+, AJ+ in order to have a slightly +EV call, and I think that since the guy is rather passive we have to fold.
Of course, calling isn't too bad.

Best,
Plamen

Can you explain me the meaning after the rake. How it affects on +EV call? Thanks

Well, since the rake is taken from every single pot, that means that if we go broke for 100bb and win, we wouldn't win 100bb, but 90 because of the rake.

This affects the ranges as we are now risking 100bb to win 90, and if we do the maths, we do need more equity when we conclude the rake rather than when we don't.

Is everything clear now?
