SB: $2.69 (53.8 bb)
BB: $12.71 (254.2 bb)
Hero (UTG): $5.14 (102.8 bb)
MP: $4.89 (97.8 bb)
CO: $5.49 (109.8 bb)
BTN: $6 (120 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K♥ K♠
Hero raises to $0.15, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.15, SB calls $0.13, BB folds

Flop: ($0.50) 7♥ 8♦ 2♠ (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.38, BTN raises to $2.55, SB folds, Hero raises to $4.99, BTN calls $2.44

Turn: ($10.48) 6♣ (2 players)
River: ($10.48) 3♠ (2 players)

vs a potential fish 44/11 after 19h, 2-3 tabling

a general question about these Flop situations vs these kinds of players.

My reasoning is that I beat most of his range, which consists of sets (9 combo), OPs (24 combos, but let's say that only half of them rises the F) and maybe some draws. Since I'm ahead and I might play vs 99-TT, for instance, I don't want to give out free cards, as he might get scared on a broadway, so I just jam.

And either throw a chair if he has a set or open a champagne if he has an OP. obv j/k, who can afford champagne on NL5? :f_biggrin:

Hi,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: That's a rather larger raise from a fish and I agree with your play here.

While he may raise like this with 72 or 82 I think that most of the time he has a 1p type hand or nothing.
