I'm not exactly sure why I checked behind on the turn. Is this just a standard bet turn/bet river? He probably has some kind of draw or Ace high, maybe some low pocket or low pair

this seems like a 2 streets hand to me, def not putting a bet on 3 streets without some more extra info.

i do prefer betting turn... you can probably bluffcatch a lot of rivers after cbh, but he probably puts in another bet ott with Ax/hearts/pp while it's tough to say how he will play them on different rivers.

What hands are concerned about to only bet the turn on this specific river card? i guess there are so many hands that he folds river so it is tough to see how many hands we could get value from with a bet.

Hi,

You can take that line or other option would be betting turn for value (as you would likely bet with your air) and then either go 3 street for value against pocketpairs or check behind and take your free showdown.
I would likely bet that river half pot if I would bet turn 2$

best regards,
