SB raises to 60, Hero calls 40

Flop: (120) T 8 3 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets 120, Hero calls 120

Turn: (360) Q (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets 180, Hero raises to 380, SB calls 200

River: (1,120) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets 370, SB raises to 890 and is all-in, Hero calls 520

Results:

Final Board: T 8 3 Q 8
Hero showed Q A and lost (-1,450 net)
SB showed J 9 and won 2,900 (1,450 net)

Is it standard fold on the river? Should i have jammed turn instead?

Hello Erevos,

Preflop:

We got very strong hand here and we should 3-bet for value to ~180 chips

Flop:

With so strong draw I prefer to check/raise to 350-400 chips and stack off.

Turn:

As played I would check/raise for value to 550 chips and stack off.

River:

As played, just shove for value. After we bet small for value I'm going to fold after villain shoves. I can't see weaker hand pushing here.
