I am currently in the process of obtaining a small sample of hyper turbo PLO HL 1.5$ sitngos and I am wondering if anybody else is playing them on any level. I would be interested in discussing them, but I am unsure if anyone cares about them ♦.
Seems like such a weird game... like how do you calculate the shoving ranges? or the calling ranges? or anything at all?
It looks like random pushing and craziness all over the place. I guess the lack of theory about it also means that there are more fish!
How did you do in your sample?
one thing is for sure, when someone starts working on unpopular format which is liquid enough it is almost guaranteed success
Some of the regulars there are well into the thousands of profit which leads me to think that there are favourable strategies as to how to approach the game. I have tested several various approaches to early game raising vs. shoving ranges and later but so far it has led me to thinking there is no finding out a single profitable way without having a high enough sample (2-3k sng).
There is definitely a way of finding out most profitable ways. 2-3k sample will never give you answers about how good one or another line is. Only some indication that you do good/bad. Keep on working on this and maybe you will become PLO8 SnG coach, because afaik there is none 
Equilab Omaha has HL ranges. I'm interested also in playing more PLO (PL) tourneys. HL is still alien to me..but yeah I imagine they should be very profitable given the level of play I've seen in MTT's in general.
I have some small recent success in PLO tourneys using Nash range percentages from NL Holdem tourneys. I figure equities aren't the same, but relatively they can't be so far off and offer some starting point.
I shove wide where I would shove or call wide in a SNG, and play tight or loose depending on stack dynamics.
e.g when I am shoving 15% (in order of equity) Equilab says to shove 40k/270k combos:
