I personally prefer calling the small bet on the flop and deciding on the turn if I want to try to get to showdown (we have showdown value with nut no pair here!) or if I want to turn this into a bluff. Obviously just folding on some turns and especially vs large sizing is alright.

As played, I don't think anything better folds if you bet the turn so I'm checking back hoping to get to showdown vs JT/T7/76/QJ etc. It's pretty close on the river when he pots, since he's only representing 9x+ with this sizing but given T7 and some backdoor diamonds get there, I think I lean towards folding.

I think if I call flop, I will get lot of barrels. And then if I want to bluff - I will have to raise - risk more money than on flop. ANd also his equity can improve.

You may face barrels, or you may not. All the better hands that you fold out by raising the flop, also fold when you raise the turn but on the turn, the pot is bigger and the ev of your raise can also be bigger.

Thats true. I did not see how the ev could be bigger when calling flop, raising turn.

But probably its because raise on turn looks stronger.
