SB checks, Hero checks

River: (4 BB) K (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls

Results: 6 BB pot (0.3 BB rake)
Final Board: Q 2 5 9 K
Hero showed J T

SB: 25/15/0 over 48 hands
seems very bad post flop. agg% 50%

I think i made a mistake of not betting the turn. But then again after some recent amazing talks with dawn, taavi, boomer etc. Got me thinking like there was a little voice in the back of my mind that was saying it was okay to check turn open ender.

was that a correct thought or some scared old me past thought ?

I think he folds quite a bit on the turn actually. He has to peel the flop with a lot of crap due to great pot odds. He has to call any spade pretty much.

In this spot I like a turn bet much more than a check. You have very good equity and he will fold a lot. And if you 3bet pre with JT you pretty much have to bluff and this is a PERFECT spot to do that. So I would definitely bet.

JT is one of the worst high-card hands in your 3-betting range.

You will have unimproved Ax and Kx to check on the turn, as well as some pps. This is pretty much a mandatory bluff.

Your opponent will have to fold Ax and Kx with a single spade on the turn from an exploitative standpoint plus we have decent equity yadda yadda, tbh I'd actually consider bet-3-bet semi-bluffing this hand if we wented to have that sort of range
