Hi. I'm opening this preflop because of 51/17 player in BB.

How to play postflop? I don't think there's value in betting, maybe in his floats with AQ, KQ only. I decided to c/c once to let him turn low pockets or whatever he has into a bluff. Should I check/call turn again as he might try to bluff me from overcards from his point of view? Or this doesn't make sense and some other line should be taken? Thanks

Hi JohnDoe1313,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: The problem with ck/calling is that you will have a hard time getting anywhere with the hand and you are at the mercy of your opponents. The sample is small so we don't know how aggro he is so we do have to fold turn.

But I think we are better off bet/folding flop than ck/calling and playing a guessing game.

If we bet the flop and get called, how will you play the turn on a blank? I think it's hard to bet for value and at the same time it's not good idea to try to make our opponent fold a better hand.

IF we get called we can ck/fold the turn. I doubt you get floated too light there by him so we shouldn't worry about being bluffed.

If he checks back we may have a thin value bet or just another check.
