Turn: (£1.30, 2 players) 8♣

River: (£3.70, 2 players) 3♣
BB bets £3.70, Hero calls £3.70

Spoiler

BB shows 4♠ 4♣ (Full House, Fours full of Eights) (Pre 48%, Flop 94%, Turn 100%)
Hero mucks 9♣ J♣ (Flush, Jack High) (Pre 52%, Flop 6%, Turn 0%)
BB wins £10.55

Opening preflop - within range.
checking back flop - standart. Could Cbet 2 streets to take out some broadways like JT,KJ,KQ, Ax. But just did not feel to be an aggressor.

Turn Cbet I assume is fine due to flush draw + overcards + I can represent set. Sizing is on larger side.

River is ugly because it wants to suck my money in. Luckily I just called.
I was thinking about raising - but that would be called only by higher flushes or FH, maby with 888 too.

Hey ilioas,

Generally I would cbet this flop. Flop cbet in itself doesn't need to work so much when you have two overs, backdoor flush and backdoor straight.

If the board was not paired it would be an easy turn call. Given the 8:c falls calling is now actually pretty borderline and I don't think folding is that bad due to reverse implied odds. I.e if a club falls on river you can never be that happy about stacking off any more.

I think just calling the river is the correct decision here. By raising you probably isolate yourself against better hands.
