Did he put me on a FD, then he bluffed the river thinking that i missed my flush??

Hi,

if he thinks you missed your flush he would check because he thinks you have no showdown value.
Personally I think betting 3BB is enough.
On the flop your cbet is good, same for the turn.
I think check/fold the river to such a big bet is fine, because I think it's either a bluff or a straight. Plus there are other hands like sets/2pair that beat us.

Hi nextgen07

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Given all the draws missed and the board is wet we have the best hand often on the river. We should expect 2p/sets to raise us by the river so he is left with some AQ (but really he posted oop and checked) and some rivered 2p/str

Given we need 33% pot odds and his range can be really wide we can call here imo.

Hi,

Can we counter the meta by calling flop/turn and shoving (blank) river with our sets?

Well, you could, but generally you would lose value at these limits by slowplaying flop and turn.
