Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has J♣ T♠

Hero raises to 3 BB, BTN raises to 5 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 2 BB

Flop: (11.4 BB, 2 players) 8♠ 7♠ 9♣
Hero checks, BTN bets 5.6 BB, Hero raises to 14 BB, BTN calls 8.4 BB

Turn: (39.4 BB, 2 players) 9♠
Hero checks, BTN bets 49 BB, Hero calls 49 BB

River: (137.4 BB, 2 players) 7♥
Hero bets 32 BB, fold

Did I play hand ok? I think that donk on the river might be wrong. I isolate against strong hand/ maybe fold some weak flush.

Hey Pantasrb,

Preflop call is fine due to the excellent odds.

Flop c/r is fine. You could consider donking, but c/r is stronger if you know opponent is likely to cbet. You want to avoid giving free cards on this texture if possible.

Turn card is not good. When BTN overbets it's actually pretty close to a fold. This is the main reason that I would not donk-bet the river, not because I'm worried about opponent folding.

Given that opponent is unlikely to have a flush and may even hold a 9x type hand I think your play is fine though.
