Pre I prefer 3betting over flatting, even against a UTG raise. In position I think the value of flatting goes up a bit, so I would strongly consider flatting if I would be on the button for example.
As played on the flop I decided not to cbet. Though I do have overcards with a gutshot, I think this board hits him a bit too well. TT+ and AQ+ are probably never folding, so maybe if he calls with 99 he could fold that, or AJ, but I beat AJ anyway.
I then decided to just try and check it down. I wasn't sure if I could really bet anywhere, because I'd probably have to double barrel to get him off weaker showdown value hands?
What's the best line here?
