$30 6max, -EV-call on the Bubble

I don't really do -EV calls purposely with being clear middle stack. So I would call Nash or little bit wider if you assume he has induce range. Even with chip utility reasons (as Collin says) it's probably not good idea to take more than -0.2 or something like that. But I don't know maybe there is some point to make these plays?

For point that in future villain could not abuse this sort of spot. We would have to make absurdly wide calls to make even 72o shove bad for him.

Also if chip leader would be on our left it would make more sense to make - EV calls. Now if we take this spot we have smallest stack on our direct left and he might be calling our shoves quite wide. So we have to go through him to attack middle stack and when small stack call BB overcall range will skyrocket.

A good reg is not going to tighten his range in the future in this spot even if you make loose calls. You should stick to nash and take your punishment

There surely is a benefit. The only question is how big it is. ICM doesn't consider future game aspects and nash is calculated on the basis of icm. So it won't be correct in every spot. So would u really just call AQo+ there?

I know all about FGS and ICM.

If you look at a FGS calculation for this hand it is still an extremely tight call range. It is like that because the future value of making a call will not outweigh the extreme risk-aversion you currently have.

Stick to the FGS nash range. There are more benefits to preserving your 2nd place stack and letting the SS try battle for the ITM spot with the CL. Oh yeah, you also still have plenty of first-in fold equity on your BTN into the CL BB, so you will easily be shoving a good 25-30% of your hands next hand even after you fold this one.
