5NL T8s flopped flush

This guy was extremely loose and calling a lot so I was calling him pretty light but usually in position. What do you think of the check raise on the turn and would it have been beneficial to do the same on the river? Didn't feel like I was beat during the hand so felt ok betting a lower flush, not sure how often I would be beat in this spot though.
