A high flush on paired turn

I chose to jam the river from 3 reasons:
-I often saw villain calling the river with mediocre hands;
-to look like a bluff and eventually get called by worse hands (TP, 2pair, trips, lower flush, straight);
-I also thought that if he had a full on the turn he would raise.
The question is in the long run should I bet smaller and if I do, how much?
