1. I 3-bet preflop because I want to play with the initiative although I feel as though my bet sizing may have been a little low.
2. Flop comes pretty dry so I bet about 1/2 pot. I think that I should consider c-betting a little bigger here.
3. With the blank on the turn should I have considered firing another bet?
4. The river should probably have been a check/fold as I don't think there are a lot of hands he would bet that I would beat. Is there any value to betting this river?
As a more general question what are some general guidelines for 3-bet sizing preflop. In general I will 3x a 4bb raise and 3.5x a 3bb raise but when the raise is smaller than that I don't really know what a good sizing is?
Also, when playing in the SB, is there any situation where you would want to call a preflop raise? From my (admittedly limited) experience it seems hard to get any value when you flop a good hand if you don't have the initiative.
