Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$3.10:///////;SB$2.25:///////;BB$1.72:///////;MP2$7.89:///////;MP3 (Hero)$2.07:///////;CO$3.30:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q:h, J:h.
MP2 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, 2 folds, SB calls $0.05, BB folds.

Flop: ($0.14) J:s, 7:s, T:s (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.14, SB calls $0.14.

Turn: ($0.42) 9:c (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($0.42) Q:d (2 players)
SB bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50.

Final Pot: $1.42.

Results follow:

Hero shows two pairs, queens and jacks(Qh Jh).
SB shows a straight, queen high(8s 8d).

SB wins with a straight, queen high(8s 8d).

I'm not sure about my post flop play here. I made a pot sized cbet here for protection on a very draw heavy board.

I don't know if I should have bet on the turn but I think I need to find the fold button on the river even after hit top 2 pair.

Hi tdust89

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: I would bet/fold the turn for sure there for about 25c or so. Spade draws can still call and even Qx.

As played the river is a fold without reads. villain can sometimes bluff but these overbets are generally the nuts.
