Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q♥ J♦

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, fold, BTN calls 7 BB

another old hand, villain is 4-tabling unknown.
this is from my days where i was experimenting with only 3b or fold on SB nowadays i'd just call though.

i feel that turn should be a bet? c/c is awkward and i can c/c some Ax, also i need some bluffing range on the "bad card" i guess. as it went its w/e :f_biggrin:

Hey Tomaloc,

It's ok to bluff preflop here, but it's also true the hand does not play so well in a 3bet pot.

On this flop we should probably be looking to 3barrel provided decent turn + river cards. Turn card is not decent and we should x/f. I wouldn't look too much at the direct pot odds since we can suffer from river reverse-implieds here on paired board.

As played river x/r is close. Ax may call, but so will a lot of boats.
