I wouldn't mind flatting this hand vs UTG opener here as it should have better EV. On the contrary, 3-bet/(5-bet)call couldn't be that bad, especially when villain seems a bit spewwy.

Hey guys,

I disagree with this statement in general but it depends on your strategy. For me, my strategy, my gameplan, flatting AKo preflop is not higher EV in such a spot.

Continuing from there, I would snap call the shove probably.. Worst case I think a bit and then call but I would not fold. Nh, wp!

Well, I myself would just 3-bet/call this hand happily as I do have some weaker hands in my 3-bet/fold range in these positions. But flatting AKo here, especially against a tighter guy, couldn't be 2 bad. Versus this one I would go with this hand pre-flop all day long
