So the guy is recreational. Kinda loose. But then I didn't know. I called flop because we had bd straight+ FD also we can float this flop. OTT is bet/fold imo. Should we go broke preflop?

Hi gretemikaite

Preflop: First, why are we calling a 4-bet preflop with offsuite AK vs UTG? You either like your hand enough to shove and see 5 cards or you fold. Otherwise you will lose a ton of money.

Postflop: As played you should fold the flop. The backdoor straight is not really enough equity and you are facing STRONG ranges.

Thanks for the help. Keep that in mind

Shouldn't we call flop? The bet is very small and we're getting good odds with overcards and backdoor flush draw, even against QQ+. Turn is a definite Check, what do we accomplish by betting? You can't really rep a 7 here and we're getting a free river card. You say the guy is recreational, yet you post no other info. At least VPIP/PFR/3bet stats would be something.

I dont think stats is important if you have less than 100 hands in zoom
