Spoiler

I had reads, so im just curious about if the 5bet sizing should be a bit smaller. Also on flop, if bet could be bigger, to have a shove on turn that works less % of the time, but that gives more value?

Hi martinemem

Preflop: We are getting cold 4-bet here by what appears to be a nit.

Why are we 5-bet bluffing him/her? I think this is a spew and we just got lucky here.

Do you really see cold 4-bet bluffs at 10nl FR? I rarely ever do.

If i recall correctly CO had a 55 steal %, and folded something like 88% to 3bets, so it was a godlike spot for me to 3bet, the other reg saw that and probably figured it was a good spot for him to 4bet, hence i 5bet.

BB had a WSD above 60 i think, and since he dont have AA, he is folding KK JJ AK AQ AJ KQ on the turn if i shove, so was just curious if i could bet bigger on the flop to get more value out of the bluff.

It was a rare spot, because ppl that steal that much isnt that regulary on the tables.

Maybe i could aswell just fold.

The spew part starts preflop because even if the nit realizes you 3-bet light they rarely ever 4-bet bluff. So you are essentially trying to bluff a nit off of a strong hand which doesn't sound like something I'd like to do. I rather bluff people off of wide ranges rather than tight strong ones.

But as played, if you plan to bet flop/ship turn then yes you can bet a bit bigger but not too much where you make him feel comitted on the turn.
