SB: $7.99 (79.9 bb)
BB: $10 (100 bb) 22/17/fld bb to btn stl 73(26)/3bet bb 8.9(90)/ pf agg 28 39 59/fld cbet 71 50/wtsd 16/hands 741
Hero (BTN): $15.08 (150.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 8♣ 6♥
Hero raises to $0.25, SB folds, BB calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.55) 8♥ 4♦ 8♦ (2 players)
BB bets $0.38, Hero raises to $1.20, BB calls $0.82

when he donks i put him on mid-some bigger pps some broadways with diamonds that wants to play that way. Rarely some 8x or 44 cause i think he prob x/r . So i def raise here for value . ok size ? or go bigger betteR?

Turn: ($2.95) Q♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $1.90, BB raises to $3.80, Hero calls $1.90

the flush completes when he chech i def bet 2/3 pot ok or better go 1/2 ? and here if he would x/r bigger i would be in a bad shape. But when he min raise i call to hit FH .

River: ($10.55) J♣ (2 players)
BB bets $4.75 and is all-in, Hero folds

on the river if fld i dont see much that i beat. If he would bet bigger on the turn its a fold ? like 4.5 or so ?

Hi noulispa

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: 8x is definitely possible as he can have 78, 89, 8T, 8J and bigger. but I agree that he has a lot of other items.

However, as played what value do you have with a large bet on the turn? Think at the flop range that bet/calls and how it is affected by the turn.

Yes true after calling the flop he got 8x some bigger pps and fds so on the turn when the fd completes i dont beat much + these hands arent calling big bet .
At this point i was thinking TRIPS = BET but yes with what we said above doesnt make sense to bet 2/3 pot here . Ok to bet 1/2 pot (or 1/3 )? cause we got to bet imo... or is x/f ?

Look back at his flop range (that gets to the turn).

What do we bet against?

PS: it may help to list his range.

he got mostly flush , better 8x and some pps that folds to a big bet. So we arent in a great shape..

Yes, so the only hands you really get value are the rare pairs with a diamond but those have weak draws and are 2nd pair so chances are they will fold anyway.
