Did I play correctly? How should you play QQ OOP in 3bet pot?

Hello,

Why do we raise 2.5 bb preflop?
Against the 3bet calling is good.

I would fold the river here. I don't think he is going to bet three streets with worse hands here.

Best,
Plamen

Sorry if I am bumping up this post again, but why should you fold the river there?

I agree that it is quite unlikely that he is value betting with much worse 3 streets, but on the other hand, the turn and river are really not changing anything at all.

To be honest, I think that after you call that flop bet, and the turn bricks, you have to call once more. There is also an argument for calling the river especially after it bricks again, you are more or less doomed to call down here with the overpair.

But on the other hand, him 3 betting preflop and just keep firing, smells a lot like KK or AA. Not sure if he would keep barreling with AK.

So, you loose to AA or KK which is 12 combo's, but you are ahead against AK (16 combo's). The question is more or less: is he capable of firing 3 streets with AK in this spot? If you just think logically about the hand, I would say he is not, just because he has to know that this river did not change anything and that hero is likely to call down all the way with an overpair. So just because of this reason, he can value bet his kings here. And so this is exactly the reason that hero should dump his QQ ?

Any comments on my thought process here ?
