-pretty early in the 55$ red spade open with huge field and lots of fish
-co's opr profile - definetly not a reg grinder but probably not a total fish as well
-what would you guys think is the best action preflop?
-i would size my 3b a little smaller next time somewhere between 255-280
-i am not sure if i should cbet this flop but i did it since i figured i had no chance to win this pot without bluffing

my plan was
*3b pre with good foldequity vs his probably wide co opening range
*fold if 4b from blinds/co
*get it in if i flop well (toppair/draw)
*try to take down some pots ip if called

Hi all,

Vs a minraise I just call preflop without reads on the blinds (if they are squeezehappy, this is a good 3bet spot). 3betting is fine though, however I think it's quite a bit worse than a call against normal opponents.

Rest is fine - though I size flop much smaller at around 200 (it's a very dry board). Putting more money into this pot is very dangerous.

thanks for your quick reply.

i really didnt know much about the blinds since i havent played against them before and this was such a huge entry field. this was actually a 2.5x open instead of a minraise but this shouldnt make a huge difference?

what do you think about folding?

and just to sum it up the difference between folding/calling/raising preflop should be very small shouldnt it?

I don't think it's a small difference. I would the hierarchy looks something like calling >> re-raising >> folding. We don't get the button every time, and when we do, we don't always get such a good hand.
