BTN: $20.70 (82.8 bb)
SB: $25.10 (100.4 bb)
BB: $28.40 (113.6 bb)
Hero (UTG): $38.34 (153.4 bb)
MP: $68.51 (274 bb) 22/14, fcbet 0 (2), f turn cbet 50 (2).
CO: $25.71 (102.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q K
Hero raises to $0.75, MP calls $0.75, 4 folds

Flop: ($1.85) A 5 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $1, MP raises to $2, Hero folds

Would you cbet here vs. regular? Villains flatting range UTG vs MP should be pretty narrow, mainly pocket pairs and AQ, maybe AJs. We can easily represent AK/AQ/AJ by cbetting, but villain has those in his range too and he could call me once with most pocket pairs. Versus a villain with really low fold to cbet and high fold to turn cbet I would bet twice because then I know that villain is most likely calling with those pocket pairs on the flop but folding all of them on the turn. But in this case I don't really know how villain is playing his pocket pairs. What would you do? If villain is calling with his pocket pairs then our fold equity on the flop is pretty close to 0.

Hi,

Since you´re deep I think you may also see suited broadway hands and connectors. If you bet 1.2$ he may easily fold his 66-88 and players would not tend to float QTs on A53 boards.
So I would usually c-bet around 60% of pot and then give up unimproved. If players would tend to float your c-bets on A high boards then c/f is also fine

best regards,

Oh, I didn't even noticed that we're deeper. Yeah I agree with your analysis. Would you cbet 100bb deep or if you we're sure that villains range is 22-JJ and AQ/AJs?

Against that range I would c/f, since I´m never ahead and I can´t be sure he is folding more than 50%
