I think that the reason that those tournaments are so full of eastern Europeans, Russians etc is that the time of day is ideal for them.
At 16;00 CET, I'm fast asleep.
Even if I was awake, I would be way too tired to play.
When the US players were on line, I would get home from work, find loads of tables with an abundance of recreational players. Now, at that time, there is hardly any tables, and they're full of regs.
