Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $50(BB) Replayer
SB ($1,355)
Hero ($1,635)
UTG ($1,580)
UTG+1 ($410)
CO ($2,215)
BTN ($1,805)

UTG: 55/10

Dealt to Hero 7♥ 7♠

UTG calls $50, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $125, UTG raises to $1,580 (AI),

Against this fishy player, is this raise too small or there is another line how to play this hand preflop? And what do you do against this AI raise ?

I would go at least 175 preflop, never less than that because I want him to fold preflop some of the time. If you haven't seen him being that crazy a decent portion of time I would't get it in with this hand. Think rather in terms of taking his chips in spots when you have a hand and focus on value betting in spots that are much easier for you.

Hello Priit1991,

I think isolating here is pretty close because we are OOP, but if i isolate then i would make it 165 and 77 don't play great postflop, so i more consider checking back here and try to play small pot, but isoshoveing is fine too, because you have really easy decision, don't need to have hard decisions on postflop.

Hello all,

I prefer just to check and see free flop. The player is limping from UTG. There are no players behind us. Also we are going to play out of position post flop. Raise is also fine but the limp is better imo.
After villain shoves we should fold. No need to hero call with such a hand.
