Hi!

I'm always making a marginal shove here and I shove any A, any Kxs, any K7o+, any Q7s+, any broadway, any one-gap 56+, any two gap 79+, and all straight connectors with broadway cards (e.g J7, J8, Q8, Q9).

I prefer to shove 78s instead of A-low, because the Ax are more likely to call here. And I also fold cards within the range above (e.g. T8, T6) depending on the stack setup (e.g. if both blinds are the highest stacks and not tight stats).

What do you think about the shove? Is the above general idea a leek in my game?

Looks like a fold here, and when the blinds pass us we will still have fold equity and IMO it's better to push all-in on 2 people rather than 6 people with a marginal holding.

Hello all,

Looks like a fold here, and when the blinds pass us we will still have fold equity and IMO it's better to push all-in on 2 people rather than 6 people with a marginal holding.

+1. The hand is too weak to shove. No need to make -EV shoves imo.

I prefer to shove 78s instead of A-low, because the Ax are more likely to call here. And I also fold cards within the range above (e.g. T8, T6) depending on the stack setup (e.g. if both blinds are the highest stacks and not tight stats).

+1. hands like 78s, 89s got a lot of equity and are more rarely dominated than the low aces.
