$7 QJs flop going AI vs checkraise unkown

Is this guy really flatting Ax OOP this short??? no 77/JJ in his range either. J7s is there, so are some other hands that picked up a draw. Usually he will c/sh with those, but maybe he decided to play tricky. Our hand has too much equity to cbet/fold here imo.

I go with it. On flops like this(with these stack sizes) you should imo either size your cbet small-like 300 or even just c/b. We kill the board and we are gonna get c/f very often.

Jep he did show A7o. Actually, I don't know what site you are playing on? but It seems that I encounter these "new type" of fishes who actually barely limp preflop like "regs" but often flat IP trying to outplay you somehow, and esp. flatting lots from blinds. Is it me or is this the "new" strategy being teached? As I've always learned to play the blinds vs openraises more of reshove/reraise or fold for the most part.. maybe i need some upgrade haha.

I play on stars. I think players who you refer to are up to date fishes. They know basic strategies. In this case-flatting A7o is purely bad. It has very bad playability post, hitting Ax or 7x doesn't mean we can't be outkicked or villain doesn't have an overpair or better.

I don't mind flatting pre vs certain oppos with a some middling suited hands, but definitely not this one.
