It was the first time SB had shoved, he hadnt been active for a while as he had been a shortstack and there were lots of pre flop raises forcing him to fold. It made me think he didnt really have a hand and was just shoving anything to get some chips back

Hero (BB): 4,535 (30.2 bb)
MP: 2,103 (14 bb)
CO: 3,994 (26.6 bb)
BTN: 1,670 (11.1 bb)
SB: 1,198 (8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K J
3 folds, SB raises to 1,198 and is all-in, Hero calls 1,048

Flop: (2,396) 9 A 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: (2,396) T (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: (2,396) 7 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

2,396 pot
Final Board: 9 A 8 T 7
Hero showed K J and won 2,396 (1,198 net)
SB showed 8 9 and lost (-1,198 net)

Hello slippyjim,

We should have solid info that he is very tight in such a situations for us to fold such a strong hand for this odds against a SB push. Most of the time it is a snap call here. Wp.
