CO: $17.25 (172.5 bb)
BTN: $12.86 (128.6 bb)
SB: $12.08 (120.8 bb)
BB: $40.33 (403.3 bb)
UTG: $11.54 (115.4 bb)
Hero (MP): $15.63 (156.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T 8 6 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.35, CO folds, BTN raises to $1.20, SB calls $1.15, BB calls $1.10, Hero calls $0.85

Flop: ($4.80) 5 K 7 (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

Turn: ($4.80) 4 (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $2.30, Hero raises to $11.50

I check flop here so that if BTN bets and someone shoves I can fold this. Also if BTN checks behind I can fold if heart hits since no one will bluff here. I don't like bet/shove this flop because I don't think I'm doing too well vs stronger FD and pair/set or 3way vs combination of stronger FD/similar wrap/2pair+, especially when I'm slightly deeper too. Is this line the best here? Or is stacking off flop best?

Hi,

you can never fold this with an SPR of 3. You just cant, so i would always fire flop. You have some FE even, and if called you always have at least 40% usually, unless you run into some sick blocker scenarios.

If you don't bet, you are keeping in the J,Q high fd's which you would love to see people fold for example.

You'd be surprised how much eq you have even if someone has a better FD, but without someone having that you are ahead of everyone, so i'd say bet the flop for sure.

Regards,

Skod
