NL5 Zoom - KK second pair vs lead river

I would usually cbet flop.

On the turn betting is fine.

As played, his river donk seems odd, as I would usually expect Ax to bet the turn, I would also call for this price.
If he were to bet big I would fold.

The fact that you ask questions is good and it says that you are trying to understand the things that I say.

I think PPs rarely fold to one bet here so we can take value from those. Also, even if we just take down the pot vs his T9s or so, we are happy and we will win the pot pretty easy, rather than having to play the turn.
Of course, hand like 77 has a more mandatory need to cbet (because we are going to see overcards on turn most often and we are going to struggle against aggression) but I wouldn't mind making my life easier by just cbetting here against unknown.
