partypoker - $0.02 NL - Holdem - 7 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 60 BB
BB: 176 BB
UTG: 8.5 BB
UTG+1: 71.5 BB
MP: 95 BB
Hero (CO): 90 BB
BTN: 124.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 7♠ K♠

fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 1 BB, BTN calls 1 BB, SB calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (4 BB, 4 players) Q♠ T♠ K♥
SB checks, BB bets 3 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, BTN raises to 12 BB, fold, fold,

Hero?

Pre-flop raise was also an option. BB bets small on flop so expect him to hit maybe Top pairs or mid pair high kicker. Since I hit top pair I call. BTN raises. In addition to my pair I have a strong flush draw giving me 1:1 flop-river. Hero should call/raise if he hits flush and probably call/fold if BTN Cbets again on turn.

Hey again TortoiseAndHare,

in Full Ring game we have to be tight. K7s is another hand you can easy fold preflop unless you have a good reason to play with it. You will get an impression later when you will exactly know fold equities of your opponents etc.

Also i suggest you to reload every-time to 100BB.

On the flop it is an interesting situation. I dont think BTN has much so i wouldn't fold that. Most hands that beat you he would porbably iso-raise you preflop. He might have hands like J9 but even vs that we are not doing that bad. So i would definitely not fold that. The best option is probably a call and then we can decide later. Also price isn't that bad.

My suggestion for you is again is to go through basic articles. There is really a lot of useful content and i am pretty sure you will be satisfied with it.

I wish you all good luck and see you around.

Hi,

Just raise or fold this pre-flop. CO is a position where you could open this hand when no one else has attended to the pot.

As played, I think you still have odds on the flop for a call.
