PLO 400 flop sizing

Hi,

first of all, we are obviously never folding our hand, but given that we have only ace high atm, i think betting big on this flop should be our default play. With a big bet we are folding out overpairs and hands like 5xxx that have good equity vs us quite often, epecially since our bet looks strong 4way.

I really like to take my fold equity here, so i'd bet close to pot. I think it makes more sense than hoping to keep a weaker fd in (which might call anyway).

yes i did chose to commit and pot myself, cant see it ever being that bad since we always have good equity like you say and good fold equity even though we rep thin on this type of board its unlikely for them to have much either.

i can see 3bet pre being close compared to flatting, but i think since button is pretty big fish i want to play big pots with him even if my hand isn't super nutty it still flops well enough with nfd and high cards.

yeah preflop i think it's fine. In these spots your 3betting range should be hands that have a lot of nutty potential postflop. The hand you have certanly meets the criteria, so i think it's totally ok.

Getting folds on this board when you basically hold A high is never a bad thing
