PokerStars - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BTN: $92.80 (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 21.52, 3Bet Preflop: 6.42, Hands: 474)
SB: $25.00 (VPIP: 18.75, PFR: 18.75, 3Bet Preflop: 28.57, Hands: 16)
BB: $9.28 (VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 5.56, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
UTG: $31.69 (VPIP: 22.90, PFR: 19.47, 3Bet Preflop: 4.72, Hands: 272)
MP: $56.80 (VPIP: 12.16, PFR: 6.80, 3Bet Preflop: 1.92, Hands: 149)
Hero (CO): $52.40

SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.35) Hero has Q♥ K♥

UTG raises to $0.75, MP calls $0.75, Hero raises to $3.25, fold, fold, fold, fold, MP calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.60, 2 players) 6♣ 9♦ 3♣
MP checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($7.60, 2 players) Q♠
MP bets $4.75, Hero calls $4.75

River: ($17.10, 2 players) 4♥
MP bets $10.50, fold

MP wins $16.33

Preflop: both have 50% fold to 3B, the caller is a nit; I have blockers, position, suited connectors. Pretty standard.

Flop: when the nit cold calls I'm concerned he's either got TT, JJ or slowplayed monsters. I'm not sure but give up the cbet on this board since we're always behind.

Turn: great card for us, except that the nit leads. I can't see myself folding KQ here and I don't think he would bet any Q whatsoever in this spot (unless it's QQ but that's very improbable). This is either QQ-AA or a set.

River: we're never ahead here so I fold.

Should I've folded the turn instead of waiting the river? It seems to me that if we fold the turn then we don't have virtually any value range against this guy unless we flop monsters. That seems a little unrealistic. What do you guys think?

Hi boozaf

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Villain can also have AK/AQ since he is MP vs UTG. It's also possible for him to have other broadways and of course a lot of pairs.

So taking one stab to fold Ax hands I think is fine (50% bet has to work 1/3 of the time).

As played this spot is tough if he is a passive nit (which I don't see info on).

If he is a passive nit I'd consider a cry/fold.
