Poker Stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BTN: $16.32 (65.3 bb)
SB: $13.34 (53.4 bb)
BB: $35.60 (142.4 bb)
UTG: $37.23 (148.9 bb)
Hero (MP): $25 (100 bb)
CO: $35.92 (143.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with T 9
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, 3 folds

Flop: ($1.85) 8 K 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.10, CO calls $1.10

Turn: ($4.05) T (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $2.65, Hero calls $2.65

River: ($9.35) 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $5.80, Hero ?

Villain:17/11 on 48h, no other info.

Preflop: Standard i guess.

Flop: what is usually the best option, i like betting here, fold out some of his his equity hands, i also he a lot of turns that improve me... any thoughts?

Turn: i improve, yeyyy, but what is the best course of action? x/c to allow him to bet his floats (if he has any?) or just keep betting? If i bet, this is a bet fold? don`t think he has QJs that often 88 just 3 combos, 99-TT just 1 combo each, KTs ... don`t know, even so, just 2 combos...

River: brick, as played, underrepping my hand, i have to call, don`t think he`s bluffing, but his value range that beats me is so narrow, i think he can valuecut himself with AK KQ KJs.

How would you play this hand?

Hey Issean,

Preflop is fine.

Betting flop is +EV for sure. However, I prefer using this hand to help defend our checking range. We also have some nice turn cards that will allow us to continue to second barrel.

As played turn x/c is fine. We should probably x/c river given the strength of our hand.
