Hi,

Villain 16/14/3.5 64h

PF: Villain looks a bit looser and I decided to 3bet for value. I think that I could call as well.

F: Value bet. he will rarely fold AK, AQ and there are draws that will pay

T: If I bet here, I'll be making fold worse hands (maybe JJ folds and is better) and isolate myself against better ones.

What do you think? How do you play in this situation?

Thanks

Hi Zitaa

Preflop: how is villain looser at 16/14? And what value do you suspect in having there?

Vs a 4-bet we have to fold and there's not a lot worse that calls us there imo.

So call preflop imo.

Its microzoom-16/14 is allready a lag
Zitaa, next time dont look the general stats but what range he opens ep. I may be a 12/10 but it means that from utg am more like 3/3 and from button 30/25.

Lets imagine I call PF.

On this Flop how would you have played?

With check/raise we are isolating ourself against higher PP. And with c/c, we will be threatened by any overcard that hits the table.

Thanks

2 overcards have 6 outs vs you plus maybe some draws.

So why fear those? yes, they will come but if villain is aggro he will bluff on them just as much as he valuebets (or more). So what's the problem?

so, we c/c flop, turn and on a blank river? Probably c/f?

Hero had a strong hand from preflop. His equity was 75.02%. I would of raised to $0.75, On the Flop, Hero's equity was 72.89% and he had a strong hand. I would raise the flop to $3.00 and make a C-bet on the Turn and River if my hand was in my favour.
