Turn: (29.6 BB, 2 players) 8♣

I dont like my line at all. Once again its like building a big pot just to give up on later street.
I am dealing with flop bets currently, thats why I am interested in the flop play espacially. Do I have to protect/vbet my mediocre hand here? I just have a BDSD to come along with my TP, no BDFD at all. Thats why I am not convinced to bet here. I dont expect to get folds all the time, so I have to barrel often on turns which I dont like as there are alot of cards that I dont like.
So Id rather xb flop and hope to improve or bet myself if checked to ott.

Is the preflop overcall ok? Villain seems fairly reggy and more on the nittier side.

Hi,

i think turn is an easy b/f. There are tons of draws that call you, but more importantly there a lot of better hands that fold here (overpairs for example).

I don't like a flop check behind cause it makes the hand a lot tougher to play, and you usually have a valuebet here, and again might get an overpair to fold here already.

Regards,

Skod
